Our does are chosen for their breed characteristics, hardiness and reproduction, but most of all their ability to pass these traits on to their kids. We have a combination of over 75 Purebred, Percentage and Commercial Does so that we can fill the requirements of anyone looking to purchase quality young stock at affordable prices.
This winter we have concentrated on adding some new Full Blood does to our herd, after looking long and hard at a lot of animals we have purchased what we feel to be some outstanding young does.
Some of these does are presently being bred to Hot Spots, and some of them are being bred to our youngest buck Premier. We are really looking forward to seeing the results of these breedings.
Some of them will kid in May, “Premiere's” first kids.
Thanks to Henry Patenaude,(Patdale Farm) and Du Sillon Farms, for making these purchases possible. Both these farms have been great to deal with and very helpful.
We have also included 10 young Percentage does to our herd, most of which are red or paint.
We feel we have 2 of the best bucks available, and now are adding more quality does to our herd as well, as we all know it takes both.
Though I have had to cut back this year due to the recent passing of my husband I am striving to breed the very best quality possible, just not the big numbers we had before.
I will still maintain a herd of 50 – 75 does, a mixture of Full Bloods and top quality Commercial and Percentage does.
Our goal is to produce top quality kids with color, I have seen so many people sacrifice quality to get color, we will not do that. Quality comes first, and hopefully color will also be present.
If you are looking for quality breeding or show stock, both traditional and colored, give me a call.
These are the does we have chosen to retain this year, they will all join our Brood Doe herd in 2012. We are very anxious to see the results of these "Hot Spots" does crossed on our other 2 bucks

Here are a few pictures of some of our new yearling does and of course some of our proven mature does.
With great pleasure we will be adding this young doe to our Brood Band in the fall " Prymes Color Me Envious" Reserve Grand Champion at the 2011 East National Show. Thank you Ryan and Christie for selling us this outstanding young doe. |
